what is cyanotype

Cyanotype is an old photographic process that creates deep blue prints using sunlight

You mix two safe chemicals, coat paper with the solution, and let it dry. Then place objects or film negatives on top and expose it to sunlight.
The sun turns the exposed areas blue, while covered parts stay light. After rinsing with water and drying, you get a beautiful blue image.

Each print is handmade and one of a kind.
